It looks like these are some international adaptors, this is all your cabling network, networking cables, sorry. It looks like you have some Ethernet, and some USB cables here. And last but not lease, it looks like you have your IT power supply as well. Lets take a look at the unit. Nice packaging comes in a cloth bag it looks like. Alright, so this is the console.
Alright, so lets take a look at the ports on the back of the MT 505. So, moving from left to right, to begin with you have your Ethernet connecter, your DC power connector, your USB port, 3.5-millimeter jack, and also your daisy chain down link port. Alright, so now that we have taken a look at the ports, lets actually power on the device. So, featuring on the front we obviously have the display window, you have your three function buttons, your up and down arrows, your menu button, you have a mute button, your call in and your send button, as well as, the four microphone array at the top of the unit.

Setting Up The Phoenix Audio Spider MT505 | VoIP Supply
HI, welcome back to the VoIP Supply Lab. My name is Marc Spehalski, Senior VoIP Engineer at VoIP Supply. Today, we are going to talk a little bit more about the Phoenix Audio MT505 conference phone. You’ve already seen the unboxing, so now, we are going to register it to one of our phone systems, and place some test calls.
Before we can register our conference phone to our phone system, we first need to find the IP address. Fist tap on the keypad, click on settings, scroll down to “information”, hit enter, and that information will be right on the top of the screen.
So, I’ve already built an extension in Free PBX. We’ll use extension seven thirty four. Next, log into your phone using the IP address we found in the menu. Use default credentials “admin” and “one, two, three, four.” Click on “quick setup”, enter your SIP information, leave the rest as default, and enter your SIP credentials. And that’s it!
Now that our Phoenix Audio MT505 Spider conference phone is registered to our phone system, lets place and test an outbound call…
“It’s a great day at VoIP Supply, this is Jeff.”
“Hey Jeff, this is Marc calling from the MT505, how do you hear me?”
“It sounds real great! Its real crystal clear, good audio.”
“Alright, thanks a lot Jeff.”
“Okay, thanks, have a good one.”
“Bye.”
As you can see, it’s really easy and a simple process to get the conference phone registered on a phone system. It’s a really unique phone system with the lighting, and we all love it here at VoIP Supply.
