101MaxLife
is an advanced telemedicine/telehealth systems company that offers pre-hospital care through mobile telemedicine systems, allowing live streaming audio, video, and diagnostic devices from an ambulance or patient’s home to a hospital or clinic.  The telehealth segment of the medical industry is a form of video collaboration where excellent audio performance is required, and MaxLife has chosen Phoenix Audio Technologies’ for its telemedicine audio solution.

The Challenge

As an advanced telehealth systems company, MaxLife knew that in order for its solutions to make the biggest impact, the audio component was crucial. The company was searching for a device that fit specific requirements. The telemedicine audio solution had to be USB-powered and it needed to provide a loud and clear audio experience, as it would be used directly to assist in medical diagnosing.

The Fix

After testing many different products, MaxLife chose Phoenix based on the high quality audio performance. MaxLife uses a number of different Phoenix models for its various telehealth applications. Phoenix’s Quattro3 and Spider models (Smart Spider pictured right, mounted on ceiling of vehicle) are used in MaxLife’s ambulance application and Phoenix Audio’s Duet models are used in MaxLife’s portable clinic case application (pictured below right).

case“The overall experience has been great. With easy installation and great sound quality, we have considered the Phoenix Audio products we use to be top of their class,” says Matt Humbert, President of MaxLife. “The extended functionality of the devices has also allowed us to spin off a new product offering which we are very pleased about. We use Phoenix Audio strictly in our MaxLife telemedicine solutions which is powered by Swymed.”

The Value

“As an organization, we seek out the best equipment to be used in our solutions to ensure that our customers are completely satisfied.  With that being said and since audio is a crucial aspect of our product line, [Phoenix’s] products valium have completed our solutions and have allowed us to deliver the quality products we strive so hard to make,” says Humbert.

“Another thing that makes a solid product is the staff behind it.  Our experience on this aspect has also been excellent.  We have had a solid open line of communication and the support has been quick and thorough.”
