The Project

Connectview was tasked with building out the Lumbee River Electric Membership Corporation training room. LREMC needed coverage for video conferencing via Vidyo in order to connect to their five other offices. Due to room size (20 ft deep x 36 ft long) and other constraints, Connectview was met with challenges, but found a solution in the Phoenix Audio Condor.

“The Condor Microphone Array consolidated the required real estate for audio capture in the training room,” said Jay Seaman, Connectview’s Video SME. “The room construction prevented the use of desktop or ceiling microphones. The Condor lit up the entire room at a 75% cost savings and only used 48” of real estate. Doesn’t get better than that!”

Featured Product: Condor Beamforming Microphone Array (MT600)

Created with the goal of decluttering conference rooms, the Condor is a 48-inch wide multi-microphone array with a pickup range of up to thirty feet. It also features a built-in SIP phone, and can be mounted on the wall or propped up on a stand above/below a monitor.
