Training Rooms are also recognized as classrooms. Rows of desks are lined up facing one direction with a monitor and podium at the front of the room. It is critical for these rooms to be as efficient as possible, with devices that aid in the performance of the room.

The need for integrated audio in training rooms has increased substantially. To create that experience you will need microphones, speakers, and a DSP mixer to bring it all together. We have created a profile to show how all elements would be connected to the Stingray DSP Mixer to create an integrated training room.

In the following rendering, we created a room that seats 18 people and utilizes two Stingray DSP Mixers. The room requires 6 microphones in the ceiling, as well as one microphone for the speaker at the podium. There are also 6 ceiling-mounted speakers.

The Stingray can support 4 mic inputs, 4 line inputs, and 4 8Ω speakers. To connect the ceiling mounted microphones, connect them into the microphone inputs. Then connect the podium microphone into the line input. To add in the speakers, connect them to the 8Ω speaker input. To add an additional Stingray use a CAT-6 or CAT-7 cable to the link down link up port.

Training Rooms are flexible in their setup, with the desks and chairs moving to fit the need of each meeting. Devices like the Stingray DSP Mixer allow for the functionality of the room to remain intact, no matter the configuration.
