Phoenix Audio Technologies Releases Two Brand New Products; the Quattro2 Blu and the Phoenix Octopus.

Great Neck, New York – June 9th 2010 Phoenix Audio Technologies, a global leader in full duplex, high definition audio communications is proud to unveil two new innovative products at the 2010 InfoComm show in Las Vegas, NV. The Quattro2 Blu, a Bluetooth enabled speakerphone from the Quattro2 family, and the Octopus, a new line of installed room conferencing beamforming mixers.

“For the past couple of years Phoenix has been working towards delivering a product portfolio with a complete range of interfaces. Our company is the only one that delivers the flexibility to bridge high quality audio over different communication links.” said Joseph Marash, CEO and founder of Phoenix Audio Technologies. “With the introduction of the Quattro2-Blu and the Octopus, Phoenix continues the tradition of providing highest quality, easy to use conferencing solutions with connectivity options no one else offers.”

The Quattro2 Blu is the newest member of the Quattro2 family. The product comes with a Bluetooth interface in addition to the USB link which is standard to the Quattro2 family. This allows the speakerphone to bridge between a VoIP conference and cellular communication. The sophisticated power management and the product’s rechargeable battery enable the user to operate un-tethered for many hours. The Quattro2 Blu communicates with any Bluetooth enabled cellular phone to provide a powerful, high quality, wireless conference call. The Quattro2 Blu is available now.

The Phoenix Octopus is the next generation installed room mixer system. The 16KHz bandwidth processing combines any number of microphones to provide optimized audio pickup. This new and flexible product line allows the user to program the mixer to work with any type of microphone. The Octopus is expandable through a proprietary star-fish chaining technique, while allowing a large variety of inputs, outputs, and communication protocols and interfaces. Staying true to its design philosophy, Phoenix Audio’s Octopus is both technologically advanced and easy to install and use. The Octopus will be available in July 2010.
