IRVINE, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Phoenix Audio Technologies announced today that it has released a version of its SIP dialer app for Android. The app allows users to remotely control its Condor Beamforming Microphone Array (MT600) as well as the SIP Spider Conference Phone (MT505). The SIP Dialer application was made available for iOS back in April.

“Now that the app is available for Android users, anyone can control the Condor from their own personal device. With the Dialer application, the Condor is a complete, clutter-free audio solution for your huddle room or conference space,” says Joseph Marash, CEO of Phoenix Audio Technologies. “It can also be used as a controller for our SIP Spider conference phones. You no longer have to lean over to dial, or upload your personal phone book. You can restrict the access to a limited number of specific devices, such as a dedicated conference room tablet, or you can have anyone in your company simply use their smart phone to control the call.”

More on the Condor

The Condor is a 48-inch wide multi-microphone array with a pickup range of up to thirty feet. It also features a built-in SIP phone, which can be controlled using a dedicated application that runs on your smart device. Created with the goal of decluttering conference rooms, the Condor sits above or below your monitor, eliminating cumbersome devices and wires from the conference table. It can easily connect to any video conferencing system, and use any type of loudspeakers, including external sound bars or your monitor’s internal speakers. The Condor will completely change the look and dynamics of conference spaces.

More on the Spider

The SIP Spider is a state of the art, table-top, conference phone. It utilizes an extremely powerful DSP for noise suppression, echo canceling, de-reverb, and beamforming with direction-finding. The SIP Spider’s dual connectivity supports bridging for audio and video calls, providing a single unit solution for all conferencing interfaces. It also supports an unparalleled daisy chaining option to expand pickup range for any size room, which sets it apart from other solutions in the market. The Spider utilizes an interactive backlit touchpad along with directional LED lights that follow a person’s voice and display the direction of the beamforming. The Spider product line was designed to provide a no-hassle audio solution for any conference room with the highest quality of audio and usability in mind.
